Pre-Sure? Cap
The?Pre-Sure? Cap?is an intelligent indicator integrated in a stainles steel Tri-Clamp ferrule which indicates whether a system is under pressure. It can be mounted on a standard 2" Tri-Clamp?ferrule and helps operators quickly determine if a pipeline is pressurized.
When the pressure reaches 0.34 bar (5?PSI)?or higher, a bright red indicator extends outward. This clearly signals that it is not safe to disconnect fittings or open/adjust valves.
The Pre-Sure? Cap?is made of a Class VI silicone diaphragm and a 316L stainless steel retainer. Both components are fully traceable, supporting safety and compliance.
- The stainless steel conforms to ASTM A240 M-316L.
- The silicone diaphragm meets USP 87 and USP 88 Class VI requirements for biocompatibility.
Due to this?the product is ideal for use in the food and pharmaceutical industries. The Pre-Sure? Cap? is available with 2" Tri-Clamp?connections. The diaphragm is easy to replace without the need for any tools.
